Few remember that heading into his administration, President George W Bush had to take on the looming recession the Bill Clinton left the country in. With serious cuts in military intelligence spending, scandals upon scandals and having endured 5, that’s 5 terrorist attacks during his 8 years, Bill Clinton left President Bush with many obstacles. One of the first accomplishments of President Bush was the Bush tax cuts which were somehow turned into a dirty phrase during this past year. How tax cuts can be construed as bad is beyond me but the sheep followed. Then came the attacks on 9/11. It seems like many have forgotten what happened that day and what led up to those events. From an economic standpoint if not for the Bush tax cuts our economy would have totally collapsed after that day but it didn’t. It strived for nearly 6 years seeing highs in our stock markets and lows in inflation and unemployment.

Then something happened. Liberal Democrats hungry for power started undermining our President and undermining our troops. They started spreading lies about the war on terror. They have so much hatred towards our President they would go to any lengths to destroy him. President Bush made the wise decision to take the fight to the terrorists. He wasn’t going to sit back and wait for another attack like his predecessor did 5 times. With full approval of both parties we went to war against terror to eradicate those that would want to end the freedom that we so take for granted in this country. The media funneled the lies about Vice President Cheney and lies about our troops. They would do anything to get to our President. But he never wavered, he never let the polls or media drive his decision making. By taking the war to them, he kept us safe. He followed the rule that you never negotiate with terrorists. Sadaam Hussein funneled money to Al Qaeda. He killed millions of his own people. He saw how easily the US could be attacked. President Bush ended any thoughts of another attack on US soil. While they cut the heads off of their prisoners, we have some idiotic bleeding heart foolish people here complaining that we “torture” out prisoners in Gitmo. In my opinion if putting water in the nose of the guy that ordered the 9/11 attacks is unjust in your mind, than please shut the hell up. If “torture” will keep my children safe, then please torture the hell out of them. So far 61 of the release prisoners have returned to terrorism. The war on terror has kept us safe whether you or the Lib media wants to admit it.

A few years back the Democrats ran for congress on the notion that the war on terror was not going well. The media drove this home and convinced people that we were losing the war. They took over the house and senate on what we now know was a total lie. Once the Dems took control our economy spun out of control. Nearly 3 years ago Democratic leaders like Chris Dodds and Barney Franks refused to acknowledge the impeding collapse of FNMA and Freddie Mac. They sat there and said the two mortgage backing companies were strong. Just two weeks before their collapse Franks said they were both good investments. By order of the Dems who are in the pockets of the two companies, banks had to give loans to people who could not afford them. Of course it turns out that FNMA and Freddie have given hundreds of thousands of dollars to Barack Obama, Chris Dodds, Barney Franks, John Kerry and other Democratic officials. No wonder they defended them so much. When Lehman brothers and Bear Sterns had to justify the loans, they collapsed. They gave out bad loans as forced by the Democratic leaders and now could not pay on them leading to foreclosures and incredible dismantling of those companies. This started the snowball effect.

This is where President Bush went wrong. He trusted those around him. By trying to be the all-inclusive President and avoiding bipartisanship in his new appointees with the Democrats in the house and senate, he appointed Hank Paulson, a lifetime Liberal and ardent Obama supporter as Treasury Secretary. After the Leman collapse in late September, Paulson came out and said that if the Government didn’t bailout the big companies on Wall Street our country would have a total economic collapse within 3 DAYS. Note that Hank Paulson came from Goldman Saks, one of those big Wall Street companies. Three days came and went. 14 days later the congress passed the bailout bill. Surprisingly in those first 3 days there was no economic collapse. So far half that bailout has been spent and the incoming administration is saying we need another Trillion….thats right a Trillion dollars that you and I and our children will have to pay back. This is beyond Socialism; we are heading into outright Communism.

Believe me I hope I am wrong about this guy but what he has already done before he is even president is just outright scary. Lastly I have one question, why has Barack Hussein Obama refused to back Israel in their fight against the terrorist organization Hamas? Maybe because Obama received millions from Hamas…..just a thought. Once the celebrity subsides and the smoke clears hopefully Americans will wake up much like we did after the debacle that was the Carter administration.

So I say Thank you to President Bush for all you have done to protect me from terrorism. It has been seven years since I was attacked and some of my friends were killed. I am truly grateful for the way you have handled one of the most profound crises my country has ever faced. As commander-in-chief, I could not have felt more secure with anyone other than you at the helm. Thank you for being a man of integrity and an inspirational leader. May God bless you.

Thank you again President George W Bush. We can only pray that your successor is half the man you have been.
